This is the de Jonge guitar. Built after Jeremy's five weeks with Sergei de Jonge in Chelsea, Quebec, this instrument deliberately duplicates de Jonge's dimensions, methods, and materials in Jeremy's Montana shop.
This is the third guitar Jeremy has built using Black Limba for back and sides. He values its density, close to mahogany, and praises what he calls its "fundamental note clarity." The neck is Honduran Mahogany, with a 24.9" scale at the 12th fret.
It is a demonstration build. It represents the direct, traceable application of the de Jonge training to Jeremy's own work.
